APP When purchasing an Autowindmill wind turbine, you get a free app that allows you to control and monitor your wind turbine, the app is available on both Android and iOS users. The App allows you to connect via Bluetooth from 50ft (15m) away. There are 2 interfaces (Basic and Advance).

BASIC In the Basic interface, you will receive a visual representation of the status of your wind turbine at that moment when connected. Information such as: 1) How much wattage the wind turbine is generating at the moment. 2) How strong the wind is blowing at the moment 3) What the status of the battery is (Full or low) 4) Whether the battery connected to the wind turbine is charging or not 5) If the brake on the wind turbine has been activated or not.

ADVANCE In the Advance interface, you will receive more data related information regarding your wind turbine/ Information such as: 1) Current generated voltage 2) Current generated ampere 3) Current generated wattage 4) Total generated wattage 5) Status of the braking system at the moment.

I have had this wind turbine hooked up to a hybrid solar panel/wind/ battery charge system for 8 months. It does what it was designed to do, charge batteries when the sun isn't shining. Hopefully the wind is blowing. In the Santa Cruz Mountains, Ca. where I live it does enough. In the summer months a breeze from the Pacific in the evening the wind will give a charge of up to 20 amps. In the winter months ( Storms) up to 35 amps. One of the best purchases I'v made.

Extremely happy with the Digimax Wind Turbine. This is my second Digimax Wind Turbine, and it has been improved with a redesigned propeller hub, and redesigned propeller blades. The hub is a better design in that it is more robust, and the blades have been redesigned where they are almost silent. (they are cranking out the amps with no problem) I bought this generator with the electronics which work great. The automatic breaking seems to be very effective and the controller is of the MPPT type which has done a great job keeping my batteries charged up. This Turbine is being used in a fairly hostile high desert environment in Northern Nevada. Installation is a breeze and customer service/support has been top notch. Very satisfied with this company and product. Would highly recommend to a friend and I will purchase form this company again. (I also have purchased separately the Digimax Pure Sinewave Inverter,  which both is doing fantastic!)
