Why use the Hybrid Inverter

Most inverters today have single function and setting which is to either have the inverter convert battery DC power to AC power or like the function of an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS). 

The Hybrid Inverter is the first of its kind to combine both the elements that you would find in either one of the inverters on the market today AND many more. The Hybrid Inverter consists of a built-in solar charge controller together with a 350W Pure Sine Wave Inverter. 

INPUT

A positive and negative Solar Input of 25V which you can connect directly to your solar panels.

A positive and negative Battery Input / Output DC 12V which has 3 functions, 1) Battery can be charge from your Solar Panals via using Green Energy, 2) The battery can be charged by using the AC power that comes from the grid, 3) In case of a black out, the inverter will automatically draw power from the battery that it is attached to in order for the electronic that is attached to it to continue to perform without you even lifting a finger.

The inverter has an AC input which is used for 3 functions too. 1) It can bypass the inverter to feed power to your electronics, 2) If the battery you have connected to the inverter is flat it can charge the battery while supplying your electronics with power, 3) It can be used as a back up system, this means you can use the power that has been stored away in your battery first before using the power from the grid which will save you money (once the battery runs below the recommended discharge it will automatically jump to using the AC power from the grid and charge the battery at the same time).

SAFETY FEATURES

We have built the Hybrid Inverter to not only be the smartest inverter and first of its kind in the world but also to be one of the safest inverters on the market. There are many built-in functions that protect both you and your electronics in the inverter.

PROTECTION

Abnormal Warning: This means that there is out of the ordanary other than the other warnings that have been listed.

Low Input Voltage Protection: This usually means that the power source (battery) is almost discharged and the system will be shutting down soon.

High Input Voltage Protection: This usually means that the power supplying source is providing a voltage that is above what the inverter is capable of handling. Which at this point you will need to remove the power source and check your system.

Output Overload Protection: This usually means that the electronic that is attached to the inverter that is drawing power from the power source is using a higher wattage than what the inverter is ment to handle.

Max. Output & Short Circuit Protection: If a short were to happen, our inverter will recognise the short and will commence the procedure of protecting the inverter from further damage.

Tempterature Protection: If the inverter runs to hot (which may damage internal components of the inverter) the inverter will commence the protection protocal.

How to use the DIY Grid-Tie Inverter

Simply follow the detail instructions manual provided within the packaging to set up. We incorporate the plug-n-play system so it is easy to use on a daily bases. The inverter will work effortlessly with you, having a key feature of low maintenance.

Install the solar panals wires to the inverters Solar Input slot, connect the AC power to the Input AC 120V slot and lastly connect the required battery to the Battery Input DC 12V Slot. 

After checking that all the input's are connected properly, commence connecting the electronic device to the inverter and switch the inverter on.

There is a Settings button to set the inverter if you want to use DC power from the battery first or use the AC power provided by the grid first. To switch between the 2 simply click the Settings button.
